Spelling error “The word is too long”

When sending email and getting error “The spelling operation could not be completed. The word is too long for the dictionary.”

This cause on Office 2003 with SP3 with Hebrew support.

Solution:

Temporary solution:

Navigate to:

C:Document and Settings{UserName}Application DataMicrosoftProof

Rename custom.dic to custom.org

Permanent solution:

1. Uninstall Office

2. Install Office 2003 again.

3. Update to SP2 (not to SP3).
